This is 3rd Ibis hotel we visited for past 18mo. Those hotels are for us just the base for daily activities, not the place we are spending too much time. I will take the opportunity to compare and rate all the places visited and update ratings. Rooms are more than adequate. Bathrooms could do a bit of touch - invest in those toilet seats with slow closing down operation. Heating was somewhat of the issue. Having AC working over night as quiet as it should be. The service was always with the warm smile. We didn't have too many opportunities to talk with those ladies - I remember Marie Ange in particular. Always smiling, always of service, always helpful. We felt welcome all the way through our stay. The food is IBIS style buffet - you will always find the way to make suitable combination. Some people may argue the variety should be better. I would say there could be more fresh fruits and vegetables. French cheeses and breads are fabulous, forget about the croissants. It would take me some time before I get bored on those. There are few things I haven't seen in other Ibis hotels, egg boiling appliance. Great addition. I enjoyed orange juice machine, would like to have one at home (not possible of course due to its size) - this seems to be Ibis standard. Finally, the hotel is offering keeping your luggage after checking out, free of charge. We appreciate it. This should be the standard service, however we realized it is not the case during one of our visits in Lisboa Ibis location. Location is great: under 5mins to Garibaldi, around 7 to Port Olympia. Great connection to all the things you would need to see - direct connections to the airport and the train stations. We enjoyed our stay and would return for sure.

The check-in process went flawlessly from the moment we entered the hotel, and we were able to get to our room early. Although the breakfast options were limited, they were delicious, especially the French cheeses, which were incredible. However, the rooms were very cold. While it was okay during the day, it got extremely cold in the evenings, and you have to use the extremely noisy air conditioner to heat the room. At one point, I decided I'd rather freeze than endure the noise and turned it off. The sound the air conditioner made was truly unbelievable.

We've just finished our four night stay in Nice and we stayed here. Firstly the hotel was a good price. The location of the hotel is centre of the old town and very conveniently placed. This is by far its best attribute. The room is basic but in line with what you're paying for. Breakfast I cant comment because we never had it. Check and check out was painless. If you're after a hotel in which you'll sleep and change in, this is probably the one.

Located in a pitoresque part of city, very well connected to airport or railway station. Breakfast is good, still the place can become very crowded. For a late, midnight snack (we had a flight delay) very little options. A few odd things about the accomodation (like toilet seat very high in one room, second room on our second stay was ok), but nothing serious. A special mention for the staff, very prompt, helpful and empathic.

Upsides: - Check-in process was quick. - Comfortable room for one person and clean room. - Great location. Can reach the beach within 15-20 minutes walk. - Check-out process is super fast. Downsides: - Breakfast is average at best. Not much variety. - Safe box in room is not digital. I didn't ask the reception for the key as I didn't use it though.

Great location very central, very clean modern hotel, excellent buffet breakfast which was topped up regularly. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds a little firm, but shower was great. Suited us just for a short city break.
